  Into the future...   We found this great gift barn on Saturday called Whimsy Green.   We had the good fortune to get a tour of the guest house which is adorable as well as the future plans for this great little barn. It will eventually be turned into a man-cave complete with sliding doors onto a deck.  What a spectacular view this little place will have.

  One of the boys of fall...   Mr. Torii Hunter   One of my family's more favorite baseball player.    If Torii happens to find this photo -- my family that loves you is the two sisters who sat in the Homerun Porch in the Dome and quietly waved to you.  They had the honor of being recognized by you at a Twins Fest autograph session.  Thank you Torii for the wonderful memories.

  Fall Prairie...   Once the leaves are more colorful I will head back to this spot and take another photo.  Its pretty now but will be fabulous in about 3 weeks.

  This was the bonus photo adventure from yesterday.     Reflections...   This is another great "Red light" moment.  I love all of the reflections in the buildings.  Until I go to downtown Minneapolis I forget how much I have always loved this city.  My city.       Layers of old and new...   or shadow and light.       The heart of my city...   For many years I worked for the company that managed the IDS Center (left).  I loved being invited to lunch on the 50th floor. Great food, awesome view and even better people.       Love the light...   Four photos again.  But I LOVE this city and honestly could NOT pick only one.

  Not a clue...   Found this in my front flower bed this afternoon.  I never seen this plant before.  And I don't have a clue what it is.  I do know its pretty.

  Natural arch...   I've been looking for a safe place to take this photo.  I finally found it -- next to Lake Hanska Lutheran Church.

Beautiful park.  Beautiful city.    

  Schell's Peacock...   I have about 15 photos of this beauty.  Only 3 of them turned out.  It must have been grooming time or something.    This photo was taken at Schell's Brewery  the home of my favorite beer Grain Belt Nordeast.

  Favorite things...   I know I am very strange (for many, many reasons) but I LOVE to hem clothing! That's all. :) OH! And I'm very, very good at hemming.

Vacation revisited...   Today was a fairly horrific day.  Since going on vacation again is currently not an option I did the next best thing.  Going through vacation photos helped make the evening good.  The photos I did take this evening were pretty much useless.  So here is another of my favorites from Pompano Beach.   This is Aldo, owner of The Kite Surf Place .    

  Repurposing...   I love this old storefront which houses three stores.  The two end stores Peggy's Front Porch and Les Junc sell antiques.  The store in the middle Reaction's Decor & Gifts sells décor and gifts.    Remember "Shop Small". 

  Homemade Salsa...   A gift from one of our many wonderful neighbors.  We have the BEST neighbors.  (:

  The "T" of a "BLT"...   So glad my neighbor Joan is willing to share some of these wonderful tomatoes.  They are awesome.
