Day 162, Year 3 (892)

One of her favorite things... Baby Mara loves these strips of fabric.  I have a cloth cube of them that I use for my suits and this is the only cube she is allowed to dig in.  EVERY day she pulls the cube out to the middle of the room and throws every last piece of fabric on the floor.  Then she starts to drape them on her neck.  It has to be the cutest thing ever.  (:   Apparently when she went outside earlier this week she still had one draped and it fell off on the patio. This is yesterday's photo.

All Rolled Up in BLUE Today was a very busy business day.  I spent most of my day sewing.  Early this afternoon the UPS guy delivered five colors of fabric.  Because I have a limited storage space for my fabric all of it gets put on bolts or shorter tubes like this one.   This was the very last one I rolled and I had a devil of a time getting it rolled neatly.  As you can see around the edges, I pretty much gave up.  This could have been titled "Light at the end of the tunnel."  But I've already done that.

Rows and Stacks of Inspiration...   This is my one of my favorite places.  30,000 square feet of fabric, buttons, ribbons, trim and just about everything sewing you can imagine.  I left there today so inspired.  There will be some good things being made.  Stay tuned... This is a very terrible picture taken with my phone camera while dashing around to make sure I got to see EVERYTHING.  I spent the rest of the day creating so never got the big camera out.  Oh well.

Bright Colors for a Cold Day...   My business, Cherry Bombs Attitude Gear has been around for quite awhile.  For years I have been looking for THIS color of thread.  I FINALLY found it. NEON GREEN on a metallic FUCHSIA fabric makes for a pretty photo.  But no I will NOT be using the green thread on this fabric!!

Pieces of Dreams   Yesterday I posted a picture of a stack of folded fabric that I had used for the past couple of days.  Today my picture is scraps of those same fabrics, entitled "Pieces of Dreams".  My company makes competition suits for bodybuilders, figure, fitness and physique competitors.  These little scraps of fabric represent their dreams in these sports. All their determination to get to the point where they need one of my very little suits to get out there on that stage.
