Day 290, Year 3 (1020)

Silver Sunrise This was one of our last days on the beach.  Each sunrise gave us something new.  The sunrise was spectacular but the surf just completes the moment. Earlier in the week I started to play around with the manual settings on my camera and found a whole new world out there.  I'm not sure I will remember what I did but I'll keep working on it. This is October 17th's photo.

Day 175 (540)

Different look... This is the same old bush I've been taking pictures of for the last few months only with a bit of a different look.   Once again, I am messing around with settings and options on my camera.  The easiest thing to do is to sit in my rocker on the front "porch" and just shoot from there. Lazy?  Maybe.  Not sure what I was trying to learn here but it's pretty cool looking.  ha!  It did take forever to focus on just this one little branch and not anything in the background.

Learning curve...   Practice makes perfect?  This photo is me attempting to learn more about my camera.  It has all of these wonderful settings, most of which still mean nothing to me.  It took about 20 shots to get a handful of clear photos.  What I love about this photo is the reflection of the ring, especially the gold from the inside of the ring.  Also the red at the very top which was a blanket on a chair a few feet away.
