An Awesome View of Life

I love these old farm buildings. This is one of MANY barn photos I took on our road trip.  I love how many out buildings this farm has.  This is somewhere between Madison and Menomonie, WI.  It was sometime before I started taking photos of truck drivers in their mirrors.  (:

The hills are alive... Another wonderful time in Wisconsin.  This time with my daughters.  Since researching my family history Wisconsin has become a part of me.  I always leave with a bit of a heavy heart.   Plans are being made to head back this fall.  New friends were made today and we promised to come back for a visit this fall.

  Wisconsin silo...   This was taken while I was in Wisconsin last week.  I love the lighting in this photo.  The stone foundation for the barn is awesome. There seems to be another foundation as well.  The silo was the only structure still standing on this farm.
