An Awesome View of Life

Yellow. The sunlight was shining on these beauties but it is super windy this evening so the shadows kept crossing them just as I would snap a picture.  I finally gave up and just snapped away.  This one has a bit of the sunlight and a bit of the shadows. I think it turned out rather lovely.  (: For the past two Decembers I have created photo calendars of my photos for my family.  This year my daughters and my husband have been telling what photos are "calendar worthy".  This one gets my vote.  

Creatively.  Strange.  This isn't exactly what I had in mind when I got started but I LOVE the end results.  The black and white version and the blue version are my favorites but I really couldn't decide which one to post so I posted all SIX versions of my awesome creation.  (: After I uploaded these photos I told my hubby he was married to one very strange but very creative woman!  He just di d his usual chuckle and shook his head at my photos.   Fun! Fun! Fun! ha! Selective. Red. Selective. Yellow.   Selective. Green. Selective. Blue. Full. Color.

Sunshine Yellow These were found on my walk with my daughter Mandi today.  There was lots of reds, a bit of oranges but very little yellows.  These are survivors of our cooler evenings we've had lately. Today is an awesome, wonderful, blessed day.  (:

Prairie Wild Flowers On the trip towards home today I kept seeing these lone trees in the fields as we drove endless miles through Illinois.  This photo captured the tree as well as the lavender and yellow "wild" flowers on the side of the road. We are most of the way home tonight.  Overnight pit stop in Wisconsin.  Just too tired to drive the last 6 hours home.
