Day 116, Year 3 (846)

Red Green Tulip Moment. Sorry.  Couldn't resist giving it a Red Green Moment title.  (:  This needs more light.  I'll try again tomorrow.  This is on the east side of my house and I was out just before sunset.

Day 115, Year 3 (845)

Serenading. This was actually taken yesterday (Saturday).  I was hoping sitting in the sun for a little while would make me feel better.  For some reason I grabbed my camera when I went out.  This pretty guy was sitting high up in our maple tree singing the most beautiful song.  I tried to get pictures of him but he was too high up.  Then he swooped and landed just across the yard from me.  Not a perfect shot but at least it was taken on the day it was to be used in my blog.  This IS Saturday, April 25th's photo.

Cave.  Or not?  This was about half way up the east trail at Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin.  I love the colors of the rock and the moss together.  This was a very beautiful place. This is Friday April 24th's photo.

Almost spring... Another photo from our trip to Wisconsin Dells.  It seems like ions ago already.  Since Wednesday I have done battle with the strangest cold.  So ready to feel better.  Just need to pretend all is fine.  (: This is Thursday, April 23rd's photo.

Ready. Waiting. These belong to my little dolly and sit just inside the sliding glass door to the patio.  She's been sick.  Grammy's been sick.  And the weather has just been so icky for the past few days.  Maybe tomorrow we can go out for a while.  (:

Does any one else see... a turtle?  Couldn't resist this.  I saw a turtle even before I took the photo.  Love hiking in the woods.

A bit of greenery A different shot of Devils Lake.  I spent my day trying to be organized for my business week. And then spending hours looking for a handful of photos but never did find.   Enjoy!

Day 108, Year 3 (838)

Two all beef patties? On the trip home I saw these cows in front of the very large McDonald's billboard.  "Two all beef patties" popped into my mind pretty quickly.  Too funny.

Devil's Lake Wish we had more time to spend out here.  Next time we will plan for an entire day of hiking in this beautiful state park.  Absolutely stunning views. This is the photo for Friday, April 17, 2015.

Singing my name... My poor hubby heard me ask "Can you hear the mountains singing my name?  They DO sing my name." at least a dozen times in the few days we were in Wisconsin.  I know some of it is this is where MOST of my ancestor lived for at least a short period of time and I have found such a connection to them by visiting where they lived.  But I find such peace when visiting. (: This is the photo for Thursday, April 16, 2015.

Day 105, Year 3 (835)

Mile Marker 85 Interstate 94/90 near Eau Claire, WI.  It WAS being pulled by a new Chevrolet Silverado.  (: This was the photo for Wednesday, April 15, 2015.

Me and My Shadow Baby and I went outside very early this morning.  We picked flowers, sat on the rocks in the gardens, talked and picked up "branches" in the yard. When we turned our backs to the sun this is what we saw and I had to have this photo.  She is always my shadow all day long.  Wherever Grammy is, Baby is close behind.  Love her to pieces.

Day 103, Year 3 (833)

Shaded. The morning sun shining through the pleated shades in my family room.  Funny, huh? (:

Grammy's Crazy Cats... This was my creative project for today.  Late last night I got this crazy idea I should make a bag of some sort for Mara.  My plan was to make a cloth tote bag because they are something I've always loved to make.  But I saw this crochet pattern and knew I had to make this.   The pattern didn't call for a lining (see below) but I wanted her to be able to put anything in there she wanted without it falling out of the bag.  And I was afraid the bag wouldn't hold up as well without the lining.  Also, the pattern had a crocheted flower instead of the buttons.  Love the buttons. There was time while dinner was cooking to take some photos.  I'll save those for a rainy day.

Forget Me Not. When you look at this in the full version it almost looks like a painting instead of a photo. Beautiful day in Minnesota today.  However, I spent the day inside, designing a new stone design.  If I must say so myself this one is going to be absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes we must "say so ourselves".  (:

Day 100, Year 3 (830)

Sitting in Grammy's chair but... I'd rather be outside ringing the wind chimes with Grandpa!  Fun evening with the grand darling!  (:

Raindrops keep falling... Actually I took really bad photos tonight so once again posted a photo from a previous moment. Not one of my favorites but it contained raindrops like I was trying to capture earlier.

Day 98, Year 3 (828)

April Showers... Another old photo.  We've rain showers for a couple of days now.  Looking forward to these pretty flowers.  But enjoying this rain for now.

An old favorite I've been a bit under the weather ALL week.  Not sure what it is but I've been taking it easy.  I still wanted to post a photos but just don't have the energy to find something to photograph. This one was taken last September and is one of my more favorite photos.

Day 96, Year 3 (826)

Feelin' Groovy These brightly colored buses sit in a farm field just a couple of miles out of Cokato, MN.  I'm not sure what they are used for.  One assumption is they are party buses.  Or maybe the farm is a commune for old hippies and these are their homes?

Day 95, Year 3 (825)

Favorite Red Green Moment. We spent part of the day at my Dad's today.  He spied this guy from the window.  I got my camera out just in time to snap one shot before he flew away.

Day 94, Year 3 (824)

I'm so dizzy... This was taken today but being used for yesterday's photo.  (:  I had a super bad case of being dizzy yesterday.  Sleeping was the best thing to do so that's what I did.

Signs Sign, sign, everywhere a sign Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign? A trip into the city produced a few interesting shots.  This one looking east on Lake Street towards Lyndale.
