An Awesome View of Life

Friend Today's photo challenge. Deb and I have known each other since we were about 13 years old.  That's a really long time to know someone.  We are currently on a little get away together.  Needless to say there has been much laughter, a few tears and just a wee bit of adult beverages.  ha! PS  She hates this photo but...  

  A gift... In 1964 when I was almost 8 years old my family moved from Sioux Falls, SD to my parents' home town of Canby, MN.   I remember hating leaving all of my friends behind but was so excited to live closer to family.   This mug was made by one of the parents of my best friend at the time.  Since the date stamped on the bottom is 1964 (see below), I am assuming this was a farewell gift.  I am hoping she can shed light on which of her parents made this.   It does have a little chip on the rim but has for the most part survived several moves.  It is part of my vintage glass collection.  I've always loved this mug.  (:
