An Awesome View of Life

Life is difficult right now so I took a walk out to the middle of the lake to clear my head.  And to take some photos. Even in black and white, the setting sun is gorgeous. While out in the middle of the lake I realized I can walk on water. (:  Which means I CAN do anything.

  Alien Visitor This creature was on our window this evening.  I couldn't focus on the grasshopper so had my daughter hold a paper on the inside of the window.  I really like the professional touch of the pink paperclip.  ha!   However, the sunset reflection is pretty cool. The photo below is just a bit different angle.  You know, just in case you weren't totally freaked out about the first one. (:  

All pink and white. By tomorrow my backyard will smell and look beautiful!  Love the pink in the buds.  Love the sunset lighting as well.

Sunset Colored The Weisman Art Museum  is on the University of Minnesota Campus and just around the corner from my youngest daughter's dorm.  The sunset was fabulous tonight when we took her back to campus.  I snapped this shot while waiting for the light to change. The building is a very shiny silver metal but with the sunset reflecting on the building it was this gorgeous color.

Bump in the road... A few fun photos were snapped on our way to and from grocery shopping tonight.  On our way back I took this photo of the sunset but just a second before the camera clicked we hit a series of bumps in the road. I love everything about this photo.  (:

Construction Sunset A mix of old and new in the St. Anthony Main area of Minneapolis.  The sunset reflecting off the glass windows and the shadows of the evening make this seem like you could just walk right into the photo.

Favorite color... Sunset is one of my favorite colors.  (:  After a series of heavy downpours today this is the sunset we were blessed with. This was taken with my HTC One X.  For some reason I left the house without my camera???

A Perfect Red Green Moment Once these apple blossoms are actual blossoms they will be pink not red.  Just a touch of sunset on them makes this shot perfect.

  Sunset Street Light Reflection First, it was awesome to get outside and walk.  Dodging large puddles and mountains of dog shit was a bit of a challenge but all in all it was a good walk.   And second, it was good to get out and SEE something new to photograph.  I know we are ALL tired of what strange things I can find to take a photo of. (:  

Sunset Bird Feeders As seen and taken from the warmth of my family room.  So ready for warmer weather so I can get OUT and take real photos.  

  Stain glass sunset. A day of being preoccupied with having too much on my plate meant not taking much time for my photography once again.  This is the sunset taken through a window, in a hurry.     It actually turned out pretty cool.  And actually I tried to make it turn it like this.  (:
