An Awesome View of Life

A day of remembering.  Good times and bad times.  This was a good time.  This photo made me smile.  "And the trim is still green!" 

Baled. This is one of my favorite drive by shots.  When you are shooting photos while you are driving you can't  look and focus you have to just point and click.  This is exactly what I was hoping it would be.  (: This is Friday, July 24th's photo.

Passing by... This wasn't much of a photo adventure.  Just the usual taking the camera with and snapping away on the way to the grocery store.  (: Not sure if the lights in the window are reflections or cars seen through the car.  I only took about 5 versions of this idea before I got what I wanted.  Good thing we had to wait through the entire light cycle.  

Texas Roadhouse Another drive by shoot.  This is our local Texas Roadhouse.  Love all of the shapes.  And today is day number 700!  The last few months have been harder than I thought.  But I am not beating myself up over it.  I wandered through my blog over the weekend and am a bit sad by how much more creative I was last year and early this year but life has gotten busy and other things are more important.  (:

Sloppy View Another photo from last night's drive by shooting adventure.  Most of what I did was in black and white.  The fog and the glare of headlights look so much different when not in color. This is a shot out the windshield just after the wipers had been on.  We were behind a car at a red light.  The bright light at the bottom of the photo is the car's brake light in its back window. This is another photo that I really like.  Two in one adventure?  Wow!  (:

T. Rex  One of my favorite things to do is night time drive by shoots.  I leave my camera on normal daytime settings and shoot while riding in the car.   The T.Rex figures are actually the lights in a parking lot. The pickup truck in the middle of all of this just adds to the humor of this photo.   This has to be one of my more favorite photos in quite awhile.  Love it!

  A bit puzzled...   If you haven't guessed by now I LOVE to do "drive by shootings". (:   This one has me a bit puzzled.  The foreground is the highway.  The center left to center center of the photo is a bridge and highway exit.  The center right is the end of a strip mall. There are also some street lights mixed in there.    But what the heck is at the top of the picture?  I was the passenger in my car when I took this and I was most likely pretty close to the window. For the most part it was dark in all other directions.  All I can think of is there was light from something reflecting on the window and I captured that??

  The view at 70 mph...     or a hay field in Wisconsin.  I love taking photos from a moving car.  I love the blurred foreground as it whizzes by and love the perfectly focused farm in the background.
