Employee of the Day This little dolly came and spent the morning with her Grammy. Did I get any work done today? (: Great little mini-break after a very tough week.
Another touch of frosting The snowflakes today were beautiful. I am tired of the snow and the cold but today it helped me to stay focused on deadlines.
A bit of "pink" sewing. Wishing I wasn't quite so busy right now. Working on a couple of things for our Mara Joy. Wait until you see the grand thing I hope to get done this weekend. (: There seems to be no time to do real photos. Up at the crack of dawn trying to make sure all my clients are ready for their competitions. Try to fit a bit of time in to sew baby things and still have a bit of time for myself. Hmmm...
Broken... In my haste to get a couple of errands run quickly so I could go meet my grandbaby, I backed into the garbage can that hadn't been pulled back up the driveway. I didn't realize I had broken my tail light until I came out of Target. I knew right away how it had happened. Dang!
Sunset Street Light Reflection First, it was awesome to get outside and walk. Dodging large puddles and mountains of dog shit was a bit of a challenge but all in all it was a good walk. And second, it was good to get out and SEE something new to photograph. I know we are ALL tired of what strange things I can find to take a photo of. (:
No Words... can describe how I feel today. What an emotional roller coaster. My son and daughter(in-law) adopted this adorable doll. Mara Joy was born at 1:34am today. I love her more than words can explain. But this gift, our joy is another family's sadness. We can't ever thank them enough for their courage and THEIR love of this little girl.
So ready for some rain and green. Obviously this wasn't taken today. We got word our first grandchild was making their grand entrance into the world sooner or later. I was too busy waiting to get the camera out. (:
Out of Focus Another crazy, busy day. Makes me sad my being so busy leaves me NO time to even think about where my camera is. (: Deadlines are coming up quicker than I dare think about. But these ladies need their pretty suits so...
Oh my! One of these days I WILL learn to say no so I can have time to go on photo field trips. I've taken on too many projects during the busy time of my business. No rest for the wicked?
Traditions This gentleman was one of the honored dancers today at the Spring Pow Wow at the University of Minnesota. Below he is passing on these wonderful traditions to his infant son.
Fast drip. Once again, I am so sorry if you thought this would be a photo of me doing something quick. It's just the melting snow dripping off the roof. (:
Flying too fast. I had to really zoom in on this and then still cropped out most of the photo. This eagle flies over our neighborhood occasionally. Can be seen from many different parts of our community. I've even had it fly barely above my head while riding my bike on our street. Pretty awesome.
Hmmm... Today was a "I'm in a funk" kind of day. It started with an email that made me want to put my jammies back on and crawl in bed not to be seen for the rest of the day. ): When I feel this way photos aren't on my radar. I'm okay with missing a day but feel the need to still post something. This is a photo from our afternoon at Como Zoo and Conservatory a couple of weeks ago. Sunshine tomorrow so I will try hard to get something good.
Another "Me and My Shadows" Today was an extremely busy day. I actually forgot to take any pictures today until I was too tired to figure out what to do. I did take photos of crumbs on my kitchen counter. The sad thing is I spent time attempting to edit them and then almost watermarked one of them! ??? This one was taken yesterday as the sun was coming up.
Reflective Wrinkles Today has been a bit hectic and again way too cold to head out for photos. This is a picture of the sunset and lamp light reflecting off the wrinkles on the plastic on our bay window. Creative??
