Reflecting on Victoria...

Today we went to the Minneapolis Uptown Food Truck Fair.  Wow!  The amount of food and people were unreal.  It was hot and crowded so I don't have many good shots from the fair.

This one could have been better but not everyone in my family stops when I'm taking photos and I always  feel like I need to rush - which I don't  but... ):  This is the one and only shot.  If the car hadn't been in the reflection it would have been much better, it just takes up too much of the reflection.  

Can you see it is a Victoria's Secret window front?  (:

Hippie Potions and Lotions

Fun day today.  The past several days have been spent getting things done before we leave for Florida.  My business is the most organized it has ever been.  This morning I cleared my custom order board and mailed out all pending orders.  Late this morning I headed for the kitchen and created some wo nderful lotions. The pretty peppermint jars contain "Peppermint Perfection", a luscious hand balm that has a heavenly peppermint scent. The "Green Stuff" is a boo-boo salve.  It works great on cuts, burns, very dry skin and it stops bug bites from itching. And the pretty lotion in the middle is "Mara's Magical Moisturizer" which I created for my granddaughter to help relieve some of her dry skin caused by eczema.  This is a new and improved version.  I am hoping this will work even better than the last batch. The other day...

Last week Miss Mara had a sleepover at Mimi's house.  She wanted to make the biggest EVER pile of leaves.  This is the end result.  And I do believe someone is hiding in that VERY large pile of leaves. Love this little girl child with all that I am.
