This was the extent of my adventure today.  My last thought before I fell asleep was that I should run away from home in the morning.  However, I actually slept in and it was snowing when I woke up.  Running away from home when it is snowing just didn't seem so appealing.  (:

The shot I actually went out in the rain to get didn't turn out how I envisioned it. It was so very pretty in my mind but not so much in my camera. ha!

 I saw the rain glistening on the branches out of the corner of my eye and took shots from 2 different angles.  This is the one that won.

Hippie Potions and Lotions

Fun day today.  The past several days have been spent getting things done before we leave for Florida.  My business is the most organized it has ever been.  This morning I cleared my custom order board and mailed out all pending orders.  Late this morning I headed for the kitchen and created some wo nderful lotions. The pretty peppermint jars contain "Peppermint Perfection", a luscious hand balm that has a heavenly peppermint scent. The "Green Stuff" is a boo-boo salve.  It works great on cuts, burns, very dry skin and it stops bug bites from itching. And the pretty lotion in the middle is "Mara's Magical Moisturizer" which I created for my granddaughter to help relieve some of her dry skin caused by eczema.  This is a new and improved version.  I am hoping this will work even better than the last batch. The other day...

Last week Miss Mara had a sleepover at Mimi's house.  She wanted to make the biggest EVER pile of leaves.  This is the end result.  And I do believe someone is hiding in that VERY large pile of leaves. Love this little girl child with all that I am.
