Day 125, Year 3 (855)


A different look.

This is my "go to" thing when I can't find time to do real photos.  However, I took over sixty photos today and this is the one that made me smile the most.  At least after the 20+ of the baby. Of course all of those made me smile. (:

But this is a different look.  I know I've never taken a photo of this bush when it is blooming.  I didn't even know it bloomed.  Normally, I get the fall or winter version with the pretty red leaves and berries.

What I love the most about this photo is the layers of colors - which are all the same.  That's what made me smile.

Hippie Potions and Lotions

Fun day today.  The past several days have been spent getting things done before we leave for Florida.  My business is the most organized it has ever been.  This morning I cleared my custom order board and mailed out all pending orders.  Late this morning I headed for the kitchen and created some wo nderful lotions. The pretty peppermint jars contain "Peppermint Perfection", a luscious hand balm that has a heavenly peppermint scent. The "Green Stuff" is a boo-boo salve.  It works great on cuts, burns, very dry skin and it stops bug bites from itching. And the pretty lotion in the middle is "Mara's Magical Moisturizer" which I created for my granddaughter to help relieve some of her dry skin caused by eczema.  This is a new and improved version.  I am hoping this will work even better than the last batch. The other day...

Last week Miss Mara had a sleepover at Mimi's house.  She wanted to make the biggest EVER pile of leaves.  This is the end result.  And I do believe someone is hiding in that VERY large pile of leaves. Love this little girl child with all that I am.
