These berries = purple bird poop...
 
This year's crop of mulberries is the biggest we've seen in the 11 years we have lived in this house. This photo only shows what is on ONE branch of the tree.  We have several  branches that are so heavy with berries they are almost touching the ground!
 
I don't think we can even pre-apologize to our neighbors for the upcoming purple poop that will be splatted on their houses, cars and patio furniture. If it's any consolation our patio furniture and house tak a beating as well.

Hippie Potions and Lotions

Fun day today.  The past several days have been spent getting things done before we leave for Florida.  My business is the most organized it has ever been.  This morning I cleared my custom order board and mailed out all pending orders.  Late this morning I headed for the kitchen and created some wo nderful lotions. The pretty peppermint jars contain "Peppermint Perfection", a luscious hand balm that has a heavenly peppermint scent. The "Green Stuff" is a boo-boo salve.  It works great on cuts, burns, very dry skin and it stops bug bites from itching. And the pretty lotion in the middle is "Mara's Magical Moisturizer" which I created for my granddaughter to help relieve some of her dry skin caused by eczema.  This is a new and improved version.  I am hoping this will work even better than the last batch. The other day...

Last week Miss Mara had a sleepover at Mimi's house.  She wanted to make the biggest EVER pile of leaves.  This is the end result.  And I do believe someone is hiding in that VERY large pile of leaves. Love this little girl child with all that I am.
