Ho Chunk Nation Wasira

Tonight my beautiful daughters got to be part of the Ho Chunk Wasira (dance) at the Ho Chunk Casino.

  Keia danced with the youngest member.  He was so adorable when he came and asked her to dance.  Mandi was asked to dance by the "Fancy Dancer."  They were both very honored to participate.

 Sorry these photos are more than a bit blurry but they were moving really fast and I think if I had moved further back I could have gotten better photos but it was a fun evening.

Hippie Potions and Lotions

Fun day today.  The past several days have been spent getting things done before we leave for Florida.  My business is the most organized it has ever been.  This morning I cleared my custom order board and mailed out all pending orders.  Late this morning I headed for the kitchen and created some wo nderful lotions. The pretty peppermint jars contain "Peppermint Perfection", a luscious hand balm that has a heavenly peppermint scent. The "Green Stuff" is a boo-boo salve.  It works great on cuts, burns, very dry skin and it stops bug bites from itching. And the pretty lotion in the middle is "Mara's Magical Moisturizer" which I created for my granddaughter to help relieve some of her dry skin caused by eczema.  This is a new and improved version.  I am hoping this will work even better than the last batch. The other day...

Last week Miss Mara had a sleepover at Mimi's house.  She wanted to make the biggest EVER pile of leaves.  This is the end result.  And I do believe someone is hiding in that VERY large pile of leaves. Love this little girl child with all that I am.
